Every Pure Adventure Travel experience has recommended fitness and experience requirements.
Some trips are suitable for most active travellers, while others—such as backcountry skiing, mountaineering or heli-skiing—require advanced technical ability and a high level of physical fitness.
We ask all guests to honestly disclose their experience and fitness during the booking process.
Our goal is to match you with the most appropriate adventure for your ability so you can enjoy the experience safely and confidently.
-
Safety is our highest priority.
If guides or local operators determine that your ability, fitness, health or behaviour presents a risk to yourself or others, you may be excluded from part or all of the activity.
Any costs arising from this decision are the responsibility of the guest.
-
No.
Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout their journey.
Any costs associated with recovering or returning lost property are the responsibility of the guest.
-
If you display symptoms of illness that could place others at risk, local operators may refuse your participation until you are medically fit.
This decision is made in the interests of guest and staff safety.
-
Tipping customs vary significantly around the world.
In destinations such as the United States and Canada, gratuities form an important part of many service professionals’ income.
Where customary, we recommend budgeting approximately 15–20% for guides, instructors and hospitality staff unless otherwise advised.
Prior to departure, Pure Adventure Travel will provide destination-specific guidance on local tipping etiquette so you know what to expect.
